On March 17th our team of 9, including two of Dr. Murphey’s children, traveled to San Raymundo, Guatemala on an annual dental mission trip! For some of the team this was a new journey, for Dr. Murphey this will have marked his 18th time serving!

“The bond of serving others and being together in the Lord truly blesses each person involved,” said Dr. Murphey. “I always look forward to these trips because it truly centers your priorities and helps me maintain an eternal perspective.”

Because of the generous donations received by so many of you, we were able to take dental equipment to Guatemala to provide portable dentistry! Serving 238 local children, teens and even their teachers on just one given day!

Accompanied by over 60 dental students, numerous dentists from across the U.S & volunteers our days were filled with sharing the gospel while aiding those in need.

The trip was a success! We thank each of you for all of the prayers, donations, and support in this mission! It was such an honor to serve as the hands and feet of Christ to the beautiful people of San Raymundo and be able to provide health and wellness to this one corner of the world. Happiness does truly start with a smile!
